There is nothing that says “Florida” more than exchanging vows on a luxury catamaran. Indian River Cruises has teamed up with Sun Kissed Weddings to provide beautiful Florida weddings in Cocoa Beach. I have had the honor to attend two weddings on the S.S. Double ShAAfted, the 47 foot catamaran, and it is by far the two most relaxing weddings I have ever attended.
This is an ideal wedding spot for a couple who wants an intimate (4 guests max) wedding. The catamaran has two hulls and makes this sailboat extremely steady while your lounging on the deck or laying on the ‘trampoline’ with the breeze sweeping your body as you enjoy the Florida sun. The Double ShAAfted has all the amenities of home including two heads (bathrooms) a indoors a/c cabin and a fully stocked beer and wine bar.
Kristi, the owner of Sun Kissed Weddings offers officiant, bouquet floral arrangements and photography services which allows you to relax and enjoy your day in luxury. Allowing Sun Kissed to do all the work while you get to enjoy the many marine and wildlife on the Indian River Lagoon.
From the tea ceremony to the bright pink shoes, this couple had a lovely mix of Chinese tradition and individual expression. The Lake Nona venue was an ideal location for a lakeside ceremony on the lawn. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. This wedding was shot with in High Definition with the new Canon 7D Video-DSLR.

Maria and Dean married at the breathtaking Island Way Restaurant in Clearwater Florida. Following the ceremony, Dean and Maria treated their guests to Sunday morning brunch. Now a days weddings come with a no children policy, but this bride and groom did just the opposite. They adorned the wedding with little girl ferries.

There is so much stress in planning a wedding. I consider myself to be reasonably a practical bride, and frankly, some things I read in magazine articles are just a bit over the top for my tastes. A Practical Wedding calls herself a ‘Wedding Graduate’ and now is shearing her advice after looking back at her wedding planning experience.
Her latest article “What I stressed about for our wedding that was not worth it” dished to readers her don’t stress list including save the dates, wedding websites, engagement photos and all local micro-brewed beer. But one section hit home to me:
The rest of the small stuff. Napkins. Escort Cards. Centerpieces. Chairs. Blah, blah, blah. You should have them (Or some of them. No napkins would make a memorable wedding), but you won’t remember them. You’ll have much better things to remember. So DO NOT WORRY about them.
So this week’s tip is to don’t sweat the small stuff, beacuse in the end, that’s exactly what it is, small stuff.
For all of my Jewish couples who want a modern approach to their reception, I present to you, the new Hava Nagila. I found this catchy modern rendition of the song while reading a post from the Jewish Wedding Network. It is sung by then 17 year-old Lauren Rose. This UK music pop star became a bestseller on Christmas Day in 2007.

Come meet me at the ‘I Do’ Bridal Walk this Sunday in Downtown Orlando. I will be at the City Arts Factory, from Noon- 5pm.
The Bridal Walk is a fairly new concept, It is designed for planning couples to take a stroll of downtown Orlando, view venues, meet vendors and sip on wine. Bundle up for this amazing opportunity to find quality vendors.

See you there!
